The American Canine Education Foundation's dog Judges Institute happens once a year. This Judges Institute is also called the Judges Basic Institute because it covers much of the information a new judge or someone thinking about judging should know. Lasting almost a week, some of the subjects covered were; Anatomy, Movement, Judges Approval Process, Judges Ethics, Management Guidelines for Judges, Ring Management and Procedures, Rules, Regulations and Guidelines. This is an intense week of learning, friendship, and discussions, coupled with years of knowledge brought by the instructors and the students! A great refresher course for dog judges, breeders, handlers, exhibitors, and a reasonable vacation for their spouse or partner!
| The 2007 Judges Institute was held in Arlington, VA just minutes from Washington, D.C., August 25th - 30th, 2007. The weeks tuition included 6 nights in the Crowne Plaza, a first class hotel and ended with Thursday night's Graduation banquet and presentation of Graduation Certificates. | ||||||||||||
